Agate is a general name for variety of coloured minerals from quartz family. They come in many colours and are found all around the world. They have been used historically in home wear items as well as in jewellery, which they remain popular still today. 
 
Agate stones are not considered to be high energy stones, but work well with others in supporting their energy patterns. Use agate stones on their own in jewellery or decorations or with other stones for healing practices.  Different colour agate stones can be used on variety of chakra points.
